The Club began as a GSD Club in the 1950's and then changed to become a KC Registered Obedience Club several years later. Burnbank Dog Training Club then applied and was awarded their Championship Obedience status in 1971 which allows them to run their popular annual Championship Obedience Show to this day.
Since then the Club has gone from strength to strength despite several changes of training hall. Now settled in Hareleeshill Sports Barn in Larkhall. The Club has several very experienced Trainers and runs puppy courses several times a year as well as an Intermediate Class and an Advanced class for those wishing to do Competitive Obedience. The Club is open to all dogs and welcomes new members.
The aim of the club is
''To promote responsible dog ownership and to enjoy our dogs using positive, motivational training methods''
