16.03.2020 - Due to UK Government Guidelines which were published this afternoon in relation to COVID-19 and social distancing to try and prevent the virus spreading we have taken the decision to cancel classes until further notice. Please follow government guidelines and keep yourself and family safe and remember to check on vulnerable neighbours for essentials at this very difficult time.
Just because classes are cancelled does not mean you have to stop your training - teach your dog tricks in your living room - practise recalls and stays this will keep them stimulated. Post on the club Facebook page - keep in touch.
Our Championship Show has been cancelled for 2020 - put the date in your diary for our 2021 Championship Show - 1st May 2021 - subject to Covid-19 Regulations.

Margo our Chief Steward is always grateful for club members to help out in some way on the day, from helping setting up/take down the rings, stay stewarding, decoy stewards, carpark duties - the list is endless and there is always a job for someone if they are looking to help out. If you are interested in helping out on the day please speak to Margo. By spending the day at your clubs show it also gives you the opportunity to see for yourself what an Obedience Show is like and you may want to try it yourself one day. If you do just let your Trainers know at your next class - we are always happy to encourage new people to come to the Obedience Shows. We will finish on Thursday 13 December for our Christmas break. On that night the Advanced class will finish at 9.30. Other classes will run at normal times. Classes will resume at the normal times on Thursday 10 January 2019.

The Club Christmas Meal is booked for the Clydesdale Hotel in Hamilton on the 10th December - please advise Bell if you are wishing to attend and pay her your deposit.
All Classes are cancelled on the Thursday 2nd November due to it being close to Guy Fawkes Night. Remember to keep your dogs safe over this period and if out walking them in the evening to keep them on a lead in case they get spooked by a firework going off and bolt. Classes resume as normal the following week.
Burnbank Dog Training Club AGM will be held on Thursday 5 October at 8pm in the Training Hall. All classes will run as normal that night. If you wish to raise any issues please submit these in writing to Sandra or Elaine by Thursday 28 September.
A reminder also that Jackie Taylor will be giving a talk about keeping your dog fit and healthy on Sunday 22 October from 12 – 5 in the Training Hall. This will be free to all members unless you want a personal consultation with Jackie for which there will be a charge. Sandra has further details.
